I just got this from cubanbass, but I played it this weekend for a gig, and it's just not my thing.

Specs...

- 2000 Peavey Millenium 5 string
- 35" scale
- Hipshot Quadrajust fully adjustable bridge with top load or string-thru option
- Hipshot ultra-lite tuners,
- 1 internally active Peavey VLF bridge humbucker,
- 1 stack humbucking j-style neck pickup,
- on-board 3 band active EQ with bass boost and cut (10 dB), treble boost and cut (10dB) and sweepable mids. *If memory serves, this is only a custom shop option now.*
- low impedence 18v (dual 9v batteries) powered output.

It's a great playing bass. VERY easy on the hands and the action is set super low at the moment. The neck is a very nice and slim profile that plays very fast.

I stole some pictures from cubanbass, but the rest of them are up at http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/jmb7183/FS%20Items/Peavey/

The finish is a subtle black sparkle...very cool.

I'm asking $500 plus shipping, OR trade. Short scales have been catching my eye a ton recently, as have tube heads. I'd love a Fender mustang or bullet, or a Gibson SG reissue and head-wise, an Ampeg V4BH, Fender Bassman 100, or something along those lines, but I'm willing to look at whatever, just shoot it by me.

...sweepable mids. *If memory serves, this is only a custom shop option now.*...Actually, the sweep mids was always standard on the USA Milleniums. It used to be an option for a Cirrus if you ordered it from the CS, but I think they're standard now for CS Cirrus basses. When I upgraded two of the Cirrus basses I used to have, it was actually a Millenium preamp I was installing.

Yup...but NOW, it's only a custom shop option. That's all I'm saying.

I couldn't tell you off hand, and my research online has yielded little in the way of info on this bass. I will say that it's narrow, like my Stingray 5.

seems to be under 17mm at bridge

Yup...but NOW, it's only a custom shop option. That's all I'm saying.Oh, you're just referring to the fact that the preamp that comes standard in this bass is only currently available for Custom Shop Cirrus basses. Yeah, that's true. What's funny is, I'd bet they haven't changed the screen on the PCB and it probably still says "Millenium" right on the board itself. :D

FYI, this is, by far, my favorite Peavey bass preamp. If I ever get another USA Cirrus that doesn't have it, I'm putting one in.

Exactly! Which IMO, shows just how nice these preamps really are. It's quite versatile.

I bet they haven't either...gotta love it! ;)
