This is what I do when we work on odd time sig jams.

I play the odd time sig riff or "lick" (what exactly is a lick?) for hours, everyone else comes up with parts.

Some cool improv on the drummers part in this, it's more about the drummer. 1:30-ish has a bit of a high point.

That sounds cool, but odd times aren't as impressive anymore until you start to mix them up, i.e. try to do a 7/8 bar and then 5/8 and then 3/4 and then back to 7/8... yeah... :)

Dont listen to it. All the recordings are with the old drummer. If you do, listen to Arisen... has a "clean" bass tone.

I like what you are doing, but the drummer is amazing. I would love to jam with a drummer like that. Well, I'm talking about the drummer in the video, I don't know about the drummer in the picture.
