Crotches are places where the tree divides just like those two pieces. They'll have VERY nice grain patterns. Believe me, somebody would REALLY like to have that wood. It'd be a shame to waste that wood. Funkus Barfucal 10-18-2007, 03:45 PM Have you thought about cutting it into 4" thick pieces? That would allow you to ship them if somebody were so inclined. The reason I say 4" is... that would allow somebody to plane it down to the right size with out having to sweat it. Is there enough etc... Just my .002 worth.
