This is a 2004 vintage Eden MH-600 two channel head. I don't believe that Eden offers these any longer. The tube channel is laid out pretty much the same as a WT-550 but it also has an additional solid state channel that is foot-switchable. It has dual effect loops (one for each channel) and three 1/4" speaker outputs.

This one is in great shape and has never been pushed hard. The only reason I am selling it is because I have two of these. I purchased this one as a back-up just to be safe. I never had a failure so now that I'm not playing as much it's not necessary for me to keep two of these on hand.

I used an Eden Metro Combo for a few years but I got tired of dragging it around. As some of you know those combos sound HUGE but they are also very heavy (98 lbs.) This head only weighs 36 lbs. so it's much easier to transport.

Here are the specs:

Power 8ohm/4ohm/2ohm - 300/450/600W RMS
Distortion <.05%
Frequency Response 10Hz - 15KHz ±2dB
Headroom 3db

Additional Photos can be seen here: http://www.acousticesp.com/forsale/metro

Asking $625.00 shipped in the continental US. Includes the original Eden footswitch (Channel A/B & Mute)

Prefer US Postal Money Order or Cashiers Check but will consider PayPal.

I absolutely cannot belive that this head is still here. The power of the WT405 with the tube pre of all the other Eden heads, plus the SS pre of the WT405, all in one. If I didn't already own two Eden heads, I'd be jumpin on this one. I still may, if my Lakland sells on e-bay yet today. This is one of Edens very best, if not THE very best Eden head available. Don't pass this up guys. It a great deal!!!!

Thanks so much for your input JOEGEEZER. I couldn't agree with you more. I am planning to keep the other one that I have and then maybe try out some different heads just for fun. But selling this one first would make that a lot easier.

Do you guys think if I rewired my 8 ohm XLT to 2 ohm, this amp would run stable for a 4+ hour gig outdoors in 100+ degree heat??

Well that's a tough call because of the heat (100 degrees). I have used these heads many times running three 8 ohm cabinets on outdoor, festival type, stages in the Summer and I have never had a problem. I have gone 3+ hours running them at 2 ohms and never had a hiccup.

i never really used mine in the heat, either...i did run it with an extension cab, and sometimes two cabs with my metro ( a d115xlt extension and i sometimes added a hartke 410xl to put next to the drummer) and there was no heat to speak of playing at gig volume...it was pretty heat efficient, so i can't imagine it failing under the heat of outdoors type playing

That's OK. You'll be back. Once used to Eden, it's awfull hard to accept any other.

Price lowered to $625.00 including shipping. I have another piece of gear waiting in the wings so the sooner I can send this off to one of you the better. Anyone?

What are the dimensions of this head? I've seen conflicting data on the Web.

The actual size of the head in it's factory rack is: 22.5" x 18.25" x 5.25"

The actual head itself is a little smaller. I believe it is the same form factor as the WT-800/600/500 heads when it's not in the rack.

Question: why does the rear plate say 960 watts?
This might work really well for something i need; but I need to get home to dimensions first.
If it fits where it needs to go, I'm seriously interested.

I am not certain as to why it says 960 watts on the back of the amp. Maybe it has something to do the the power draw rather than the output. I have seen other Eden amps with a a number on that back that doesn't match up with the rated outbut. I really don't know.

And so the 220 watt Silverado 4x8 with LDS long throw 8's gets a whompin' huge upgrade.
The measurements you have posted indicate it should be a direct drop in.

paypal'd, and muchos gracias;)
