Where can I find the tension springs for the string saddles? Some told me to use a spring from an ink pen. Would that hold up?

Im sure anywhere you get nuts bolts and screws sold your sure to find springs. Especially more engineering specific shops.

I think you'd need a spring that can put a decent amount of force on the saddle I doubt that the spring in a pen would come close.
