VIEW FULL LIVE VERSION : Carvin B800 - MINT MINT MINT
SOLD!
I just got this a few months back when they still had a few left, and as fantastic of a deal as it was, I just haven't been using it.
These are especially cool because they go down to 2 ohms, so they can drive tons of different speaker configs. They are also not heavy at all, and extremely easy to carry by the handle, and even have feet on the side as you can see so they can be set down like a suitcase. Tone for days... major unsung heroes on these!
I still have the original box, etc, and have rarely used it at all... it's literally in brand new condition, because essentially, it is.
I've got about $400 in this, have barely touched it, and would blow this out for $350 SHIPPED/48, and of course including paypal. No muss, no fuss, brand new B800 on your doorstep for 350. Done.
Initial pic, more if needed, but it does not have a single mark on it anywhere...

::::BASSIST:::: 10-19-2007, 12:49 PM I have this amp and I like it alot.
Very nice tone and great features.
Carvin doesnt make these anymore. Someone should buy it!
Trevorus 10-19-2007, 01:15 PM Dang, I want it.
FYI,
While these amps aren't up on the Carvin website anymore, the manual/specs are still there... just confusing 'cause this head and the combos shared the same manual, and the name on the manual doesn't say b800.
Anyway, it's all here:
http://www.carvin.com/manuals/brx212.pdf
One blurb from that:

I may look into it... 2 GK 1001's is a bit redundant...
tallboybass 10-19-2007, 02:13 PM Vic, how much does this 'bad boy' weigh?
PaleMelanesian 10-19-2007, 02:25 PM According to the linked manual, 25lb shipping weight. I'm curious, too.

::::BASSIST:::: 10-21-2007, 02:45 AM No problem.
Also, just for you guys sitting on the fence on this, I know of a TBer who just got one of these within the last few days. He likes it alot and says he loves how loud and full sounding it is. If he wants to make himself known, I'll leave that up to him.
Its a great amp. If I could go back in time to the point where I decided to buy my B800, I would do so again in a heartbeat.
Trevorus 10-21-2007, 02:46 AM I've played them a couple of times myself. That's why I'm gunning for this one if my other amp sells...

CAn you give me dimensions of the unti "inside the rack?"
I my try to stuff this in my Silverado Combo...You mean just the raw head itself? You do know there's no lid on that part, right? And I'm not sure if it even has sides.
Just the raw head, yep.
It would be "inside" the silverado, where the stock powerplant is...

It would be "inside" the silverado, where the stock powerplant is...Ok. I'll do my best and get back to you later tonight.
Just the raw head, yep.
It would be "inside" the silverado, where the stock powerplant is...Looks like 15 5/8" wide, 3 1/2" high, and 10" deep at the bottom (the deepest part, since the front angles back towards the top).
