I feel that I have been seriously lacking in the groove department right now and was hoping that all my TB friends could recommend me some groovy songs/artists. im especially in the mood for some of that groovy gospel style bass with some low B. mmm mmm. lay it on me.

"Yes We Can Can"- Pointer Sisters (simple but so groovy)
"Rock Steady"- Aretha Franklin (Chuck Rainy rules!)

Try some Jamiroquai: Cosmic Girl, Travelling without Moving, Canned Heat and Main Vain all have very groovy/funky bass in there. I'm not sure about the gospel stuff but also you could check out some James Jamerson stuff, pretty much all of his old motown stuff was pretty great.
