Repost - now for sale: Same as Yamaha's top of the line TRB-5PII without the piezo in the bridge. New, this baby went for around $2K.

This beautiful bass specs out as follows:
35" scale bolt-on
Rosewood fingerboard, 20" neck radius
24-fret; ash body
Solid Brass bridge; 2-double coil alnico pickups
Active 3-band EQ
Weight is 10 lb. according to the bathroom scale

No issues with this bass except for a super-small ding on the neck and a missing battery cover.
Price is $550 shipped.

I have the 6 string version. I'd buy this too if I could afford it. easily competes with high end boutique basses. Buy it!!
