Maybe this topic has been discussed but i didn't find info that i need..
How are their tuners? they seem to be very cheap, 26 $ on ebay. Black, chrome and gold tuners are of the same price...
They seem to be pretty solid..i just need good tuners but dont have the money and don't see the reason spending more on schaller or hipshot etc..
Did you used them? how did they work for you? where are they made?
Thx :)

Wilkinson Tuners are actually quite decent. I use them quite regularly for mods and builds that are not hardware specific. They look good, work smoothly, and seem to be pretty durable, as I have not had a set come back in 5 years of using them. They are also quite light if you are concerned about weight.

Which ones do you use?

Nice to hear...especially considering the price! Where do you usually get the ultra light open gears?

I got a set of Wilkinsons and found that they didn't fit - they overlapped each other on the back of the head.
The neck was a MIJ copy from the 70s and is pretty accurate to a Jazz Bass neck.
Didn't work for me.

I've used them several times they are very pleasing, smooth and nicely finished.
