FAO UK & Europe!

Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray HH 5 string bass

Finished in white with matching headstock and perloid pick gaurd, maple neck and fret board

This bass is the double pick up version and is fitted with white pick up covers, as far as I know this isn't an option when ordering a HH stingray, or at least it wasn't last time I checked, something to do with the new p/up covers for the HH basses not being made in white? (yes you can get single white 5 string p/up covers and this contains two of those) This bass came from the Bass Center and was put fitted with the p/up covers by the UK importer.

The range of tones available from this bass is superb, adding the neck H has made a huge difference, with the 5 position switch in the central position, both pick up are on, making for a great reounded slap sound, you gotta try it!

The bass comes complete with an immacualte MM case with all hang tags and case bits, duster etc

The bass is in mint condition, if I were to be picky, I would say it has avery slight indent between the fourth and fifth fret on the back of the neck, barely visible and the pick up covers are slightly discoloured where my thumb has rested, but they won't be once I clean them! I can gaurantee that there are no dents, dings or scratches anywhere on this bass.

I'm selling it becasue I feel like a change, no trades though, I know what I want and I'm not in a rush, so no silly offers either!

I'll deliver within a reasonable distance of Manchester, meet half way etc, otherwise, postage to be covered by the buyer!

£950

Are you trying to F with me? UK only? Can you move to Indiana for a couple months so I can buy it from you and not pay shipping ;)

Awesome bass.

You know the dollar is so in the toilet right now and European prices on MM are so inflated you could just order one like that new and it would be less.

That is very true. That's why I would like to get one used from US. It seems to be cheaper to pay shipping and import taxes (even though this one has a good price for its condition considering the prices here in Europe). Music Store in Germany where I usually buy music stuff cause its a bit cheaper than here in Portugal is selling a new Music Man Stingray 5 HH RW MH Lava Pearl Black Ice Pickguard with case for €2700 which is $3890. I cannot even afford sshorepunk's bass!!!!!! (even though I really wanted... not my favorite color, though).

Bump.

i think for european( extra from UK where prices are maybe highest in EU) american site is not good place to sell MM...I would never buy MM from EU shops, price are here NUMERICAL higher in euro, 1500 USD, about 1700 Euro.....

Try more like 1500 USD = almost 2200 Eur and it's going to get more extreme. Yeah - you could fly to New York, exchange Euros for dollars, buy a stingray in cash, fly back, and it would still be less, including your airfare, than buying one in Europe. The EBMM euro distributor is cleaning up right now, and will continue to do so unless they adjust pricing (just like every other US produced product).

But THIS BASS is quite amazing looking; worth the price in the US and a bargain in Europe.
