yes, he basically sells a cardboard box and transducer, with fretboard. Seems like a joke to me because I'm tossing my boxes in the recycle bin. Heck, if I had 70 clams, I would go and buy myself a guitar or something....or anything that I wouldn't be embarrassed to walk into a gig with.
on a related note, my local mom-n-pop shop, is selling two "briefcase basses"
it's nice, because u can get the upright sound, without the scale difference. I would love to own it, but it would seem out of context for the bands I play in.
