Theoretical Question here;
i dont know why this popped into my head. if your band was a body, what body part would the instruments be?

i guess the drummer might be the backbone.
maybe the bassplayer is the heart beat.
what would the guitarist be?
what would a keyboard be? a left foot?
how about a back up triangle? i guess that would be some sort of unwanted growth or a mole.

talk amongst yourselves....;)

Well, the drummer and the singer would definitely be someplace around the genitalia. That's usually where you can find one of them at any given moment anyway.

Drummer would be the skeleton, bass would be the muscle/connective tissue, guitars/keys would be the skin, vocals would be hair, etc.

This thread reminds of that stury about the butthole wanting to be the boss and all the other body parts laughing at him..

The singer would be the head/mouth. (faces the crowds and communicates with words)

The bassist and drummer would be the legs/back. (gets the body moving)

The guitarists would be the arms. (performs auxiliary, yet impressive tasks)

The keyboardist would be a headless body climbing on the back of the band. Right? Otherwise they're whatever part they want to be - rhythm, lead, prosthetic limbs, everything...

In my band, the guitarist would be the dick.

Oh, that was horrible. I am sorry. :smug:
