SOLD!! thanks dirk.hey folks, I have a less than 1 year old Nikon D70s 6.9 megapixel (body) digital SLR camera, this is an amazing camera, I bought this to gety more into photography and I just don't have the time to devote to such an expensive camera. when I bought it I also bought lenses but those I sold to a friend. It does have not one but two Li-on nikon recharchable batteries w/ the nikon charger and the biggie, and I mean that literaly, a hitachi 6GB microdrive CF card, that means you can shoot 21000 pics in Jpeg and 1200 in nikon RAW. I paid $899 for the body and $39 for the batt. and $139 for the micro drive. I'm Looking for $650 OBO shipped to the lower 48 no trades please. you can find all the specs here:http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25218

here are the Pics.

Just out of curiosity, what does a standard lens cost for it?
Thanks,
Dirk

Nikon has a couple 50mm's. The cheapest is probably less than $90. Great price for a sweet camera.

Yeah, nice camera. Can take any Nikon lense even a lot of the older film ones. A lot easier to use than you'd think a semi-pro/pro camera would be. You can always just set it to auto and go take a ton of pictures like a point and shoot!

actually it can take any nikon lens, my friend took a photography class at the local college and they had a nikon f55 film camera and a lens that was made in 1957 and it went right on this camera. the only thing with lenses that old is they don't have or support auto focus but they function. this is one of the reasons nikon is the leader in professional photography, they have never changed their lens mount.
