cosmicevan 11-15-2007, 03:09 PM oh wow. i just picked up a carl thompson no frills so the pockets are all empty! any interest in any trades?
why oh why do amazing basses always go up for sale right after i spend all my bass cash on something else?
neptoon 11-15-2007, 03:31 PM sorry, bro, no trades...not sure i'm selling yet...i may keep it, and i really dig this bass, i just haven't grown attached to it, if that makes any sense
Jerry J 11-15-2007, 04:17 PM sorry, bro, no trades...not sure i'm selling yet...i may keep it, and i really dig this bass, i just haven't grown attached to it, if that makes any sense
Oh man, I remember the painful wait that you went through waiting for this bass.
It is such an elegant looking bass and I know that the photo just don't even begin to do it justice.
Mrdak 11-15-2007, 04:19 PM Damn sexy is what that is...
neptoon 11-15-2007, 04:23 PM yeah, ain't it nuts? i'm doing all i can to keep it, but it may have to go...we'll see...
EduardoK 11-16-2007, 12:30 AM Wow, a sexy bass for sure.
Scale length?
Nut width and neck shape/tapper?
String spacing at bridge?
neptoon 11-16-2007, 06:28 AM 34" scale, the neck is pretty flat on the back...the fingerboard is radiused, but not that much at all...19mm or 20mm spacing at the bridge...i have no idea how wide it is at the zero fret...it seems to tap ok, but i don't have it set up, really for that...i don't prefer my action super low, but there are lots of lefay players out there that tap the mud out of them...
neptoon 11-18-2007, 11:22 AM bump :D
neptoon 11-20-2007, 07:11 PM bump
