VIEW FULL LIVE VERSION : Shielding L2000/L2500 pickup cavities - any suggestions?

I've got an L2500 Tribute and I've replaced the series/parallel switch with an outer coils/parallel/inner coils switch. I really like the single coil sounds but when I solo a coil I sometimes get an RF interferance hum. I completely shielded the control cavity but I haven't shielded the pickup cavities. Would that make a difference? How would I do that? What will I see when I remove an MFD pickup from the pickup cavity?

Thanks!

Springs, wires, & foam. I'd use a shielding paint due to the cavity tolerance.

What do you mean about the cavity tolerance? I've got copper foil with a conductive adhesive. Would that work?

He means there might not be enough room for foil tape (tolerance).
