How many cells does the battery have and the life on it, does this have built in wireless networking, and is the onboard videocard is the ram shared with system memory or does it have it's own, if it has it's own then how much does it have by itself?

It does have Broadcom wireless networking. The video RAM is shared, and I have no idea where to look for the battery info. I can go about 4 hrs on the battery though. Hope this helps.

If you take the battery off of the unit, it should tell you how many cells it has, the more the better. If it gets 4hrs, it should at least be a 9cell. If it doesn't tell you the provided documents might. Also... I tried to look up info. on this laptop, is F500 the exact model number because I am not finding this exact model number but info. on the F500 series which has about 4-6 different models in the F500 series. :hmm:

I took the battery off, but I didn't see anywhere saying how many cells it had. It did however have a circle w/ 2 arrows and a 5 in the middle of the circle??????

The info on the exact model says it is a Presario F500 (GF593UA#ABA).

Excuse my ignorance but what Ghz is the processor? Also would this be anything that I would attempt to edit and burn my home movies off of my dgital video camera...and multi track recording?

Also...does this have Firewire...that's a must have for the camera.
