SOLD!!!!

Due to my recent acquisition of two Spector basses, I need to sell my Fender Jaguar. I am the original owner, its only about 4.5 months old and is a strong 9-9.5/10 with no scratches or dings. The finish is a very high gloss red that is hard to capture in photos, but its looks like a sports car finish. The switches might look intimidating at first glance, but they really aren't; the ones on the bottom control the pickups (individual on/off switches and a series/parallel switch) and the ones on the top control the active preamp (active/passive switch, wheels for active bass and treble boost). Its very versatile, but its wasn't quite what i was looking for tone-wise, its just a bit too vintage for my needs (I'm in a modern rock/metal type band and the Spectors are just better at that for me). It can do anything a Jazz bass can do, plus a little extra. I installed a Hipshot D-tuner (original tuner will be included) and I am including a SKB Freedom hardshell case (Jaguars do not come with a case). The case is not a perfect fit, but its definitely snug enough for everyday use (I will put some cushioning in there for shipping, just in case). I am looking to get $600 shipped within the US. Paypal is ok. NO TRADES!! Here are some pics:

Don't have an exact weight. It's not heavy, but it's not really light either. Similar in weight to a Jazz bass. I would imagine its right around 9.5 lbs. , give or take 0.5 lbs. Very comfortable and well-balanced.

Funny :p

Yeah, I'm sure. I need the $$$ to help pay for the two that I just bought.

I love these basses - still a Fender but distinctive, and versatile.

Looks like we've decided to go the five-string route, otherwise TUMS (or the checkbook) would be required.

Thanks for your PM - bump for someone to purchase this bass on the Bay.
All things being equal, why not buy from a TB'er???

Didn't get too many bites on the 'Bay (well until there was 10 minutes left in the auction anyway:hmm:). I might relist it, but first I thought I would offer a price-drop here for 24 hours.

$550 shipped to the continental US. This price will only be available for today, if I don't get any bites I'll relist it on ebay. This is a killer deal on a virtually brand new bass.

Drool, drool, drool. drool. If I hadn't just spent a butt load of money I'd snap this up. This is one of my favorites...played it at three different shops...this is one killer bass.
