Looking at the credits listing for "Eurythmics Live 1983-1989", it's either Dean Garcia or Chucho Merchan.

Aside from being a great bass player, I can attest that he's a lovely bloke too, having met him a few years back...

I always dug Dean Garcia's playing too.....excellent fretless player! Dave Stewart used him a lot. Curve never got the love they should have either. IMHO

yes it´s chucho merchan, I thought it was Garcia, because that´s what the credits say.

I think the bassline played in this version has more feeling than the studio recording, gives the song much more rythm.
