Hi- I have an Ampeg SVT 400TH for sale. Note that this is a "TH" not a "T". The Ampeg SVT 400T was a very popular model. The specs are the same, but I couldn't find much info on the web, so I called Ampeg technical support. They said The 400TH is a newer revision of the 400T. They said that the feature set is the same, but the styling is "updated" and it has some "upgraded components", presumably to address shortcomings in the 400T design.

It has 2 power amps and a built-in crossover for true bi-amping without any additional amp or crossover. It is rack mountable (3-space), and has a very good EQ section, 200w x 2 into 4 Ohms, 400w bridged into 8 Ohms, and has a bunch of other features. The head is in good condition, with some rack rash.

-----------------------------------------------
Solid state.
Two inputs: one 0 db, one -15 db.
One channel. Foot switchable 9 band graphic eq.
One band semi-parametric eq.
"Ultra low" and "Ultra bright" pull-pot switches.
Built in defeatable limiter.
Biamp capable with adjustable crossover frequency.
Many patch points including line out, line in, XLR out, preamp in/out, effects loop, etc.
LEDs for power, clipping, limiter.
Banana plugs and binding posts.

Check out the harmony Central reviews of the 400T (similar previous model):

I woud sell it for $300 including shipping to the continental United States. It is an awesome amp for the price.

Partial trades considered. I'm pretty firm on the price, but if it doesn't sell at the asking price in a week or so, I'll consider lower offers..

See photos below. Check out my feedback. I pack things very well and ship promptly.

Thanks for looking. If you have questions, just ask.

Click to enlarge. The photos aren't very good. The unit is in really good condition.

I need to figure out how to host photos, so I can make them larger.

Is the rack included?

No, I'd like to keep the rack. It is an Anvil-brand case that is really sturdy. I guess I'd include it for an addirional $65.

The bathroom scale says 44 pounds including the anvil rack shell. That would put the amp head in the mid 30's. Pretty heavy, but a really nice amp.

this might be a dumb question, but is there a way to run in bridged at 4 ohms?

How much would shipping be to 19083 with the anvil rack?

Thanks,
