I know. I'm the high bidder at the moment. I'd like it to stay that way. ;)

Good luck, I just got one and I really like it so far, especially when used with a wet/dry blend pedal.

Thanks grygrx. I've already sent an email to Barge about getting a modded VFB-2 but I really want it primarily to use with a Robotalk.

If I get the FX25 I'll be using it primarily for dub.

One of these went for like 40 even last week with shipping. :\

Cheers for the heads up aqueous- but we know, we were just hoping this one might slip under he radar without someone on this forum waving a flag and the price shooting up.- sorry not having a dig, just refusing to pay over the odds for this pedal and getting frustrated as they keep whizzing by on the bay for too much money.

Incidentally Big O- I was the other bidder. I just logged in to consider swiping it at the last but as It's another Tb'er I'll leave it until the next one comes around- cool as these babies are there really isn't any reason for them to cost more than $50.
Hope it's yours in a few hours time. ;)

If you change your mind about it I'll take it off your hands though.

Thanks dirtgroove, I appreciate it.

I know what you mean about paying too much. Should I win this auction, I'm paying more than the current version costs new.

I remember getting a used Boss Slow Gear for $20 about 10 years ago and selling it when my band broke up for about the same. When I got back into effects a year or two ago I checked around to see if I could find one and couldn't believe what people were paying for them. It's a crazy world.

Well, I didn't end up with the FX25. Somebody sniped it at the last minute which I have mixed feelings about. I certainly would have liked to add it to my board, but I was already iffy about the price I was paying for it when I was the high bidder at $46.

They are cool (if limited) little boxes, but with shipping that one just sold for over 60 bucks.

For $20 less I can get one of the new ones which I believe work just as well for dub, though the filter doesn't sound quite as good.
