Yep. But 3 years hardware warranty solved that problem. I wouldn't have bought a new box had I not been waiting for months to get Rock Band.

I got my 360 and after working at BestBuy I threw in the extra money for the 3 year warranty.

Now that yours is fixed it's actually better than one off the shelf due to Microsoft resolving the heat sink issue that caused the problem in the first place.

Great price. I love mine, I hadn't played video games in a long, long time but realized how much I missed them. Gears of War is pretty awesome and the Call of Duty series is pretty kick a$$.
