I'm selling my Carvin LB76 6 string...$400 shipped to CONUS.

I bought this in 1992, and except for some minor wear and tear, it sounds and plays just as nice as it did then. This is a great bass but I just don't play it as much these days, its been residing in my studio for about 10 years.

The minor wear and tear refers to some knicks on the face, between the bridge pickup and the bridge. This was where I had a Roland GK-2B MIDI pickup mounted, which I took off a few months back and it scratched a little. And a couple bumps on the bottom edge, but nothing to the wood, just surface knicks.

This was a great bass to transition from the 4 string to the 6, so I know it could be useful to someone out there.

I do not have a case for this bass. So it ships as is (bubble wrapped and padded of course).

So $400 shipped (to CONUS).
Paypal prefered, but I'll take cashier's check too.

The only trades/cash deals I'm looking for are:
(tube preamps)
Demeter VTBP201s preamp
Demeter HBP-1 preamp
Aguilar 659 preamp
(or comparable)

Thanks for looking.

This is a great deal! I used to have one of these...a 1991 LB76 I believe it was. These things sing. It's taking every ounce of strength I have to not buy this...and this guy is local to me too! So it's that much harder to fight the urge. If it wasn't for the fact that I bought a new 'wick yesterday, I would already be strumming this one in my living room. Someone will get a helluva deal here...maybe me if GAS gets the better of me! :help::bassist:

My '99 has 16.5mm spacing

i don't have a mm guage to get the exact spacing, but its 3 1/8" between B and C string at the bridge (not the brdge itself, just between strings)

I can say that its a little tighter spacing than the normal spacing on a 4 string. But I always found that to be a good thing.

No, I don't know what it is. Sorry.

If it is 16.5mm, I'll pass. I think that from now on, I want at least 18mm string spacing.
