Up for sale is my Fender Squier P Bass Special that I purchased new in May of this year.
The bass is in excellent, like-new condition. There are no scratches or dings on the body, neck, or headstock. I have used this bass for practice in my basement and at a local music school. I have never gigged with it. It has not been exposed to smoke or pets. Many new basses on the wall at Guitar Center have more problems than this one.
This bass in finished in Black Metallic paint with a white/black/white pickguard. The body is made from agathis, and is cut in Fender's classic Precision Bass shape. The neck is made from maple, and is the classic C-shape Jazz Bass shape. The fingerboard is rosewood and has a radius of 9.5 inches. It has 20 frets, is 34 inch scale, and is 1.5 inches wide at the nut. The controls feature two volume knobs (one for each pickup) and a tone knob.
The strings that came on this bass (Fender Super 7250ML) were pathetic. The bass now wears a set of D'Addario Chromes (model ECB81) flat-wound strings that I put on in July.
The bass comes with its original truss rod wrench and bridge wrench. I'm also including a nylon shoulder strap.
I am also including an SKB-44 Electric Bass Hardshell Case. I bought this case in May. This case can hold right-handed P and J style bass guitars. The case comes with a lock and one key. There are some very minor scuffs on the outside of the case. When opened the "new car smell" of the case is very prominent. Not obnoxious, just there.
Since I got my Lakland, I think I've touched this bass once. I'll let the bass and case go to a good home for $225 shipped.
