Greetings friends!

Up for sale or trade is an Aria Pro II AVANTE series 5 string bass that was MIK.

The good:
- Body is pretty nice
- Pick guard looks sweet
- New battery
- New EB Slinky strings
- I just oiled the finger board
- Active electronics
- 4 piece neck

The bad:
- Needs a set up job and possible frett dressing from someone with more experience then me. I like my action extremly low and I am not talented enough to get this bass there.
- Tiny nick on the bottom of body below the bridge (you can see it in the pictures)
- Some mojo on the neck. Looks like the previous owner put out his cigarettes on the neck. Eeek!
- The bottom strap screw is missing the felt washer.
- I don't have a case but I'll make sure that the UPS girls put tons of really cool popcorn and bubble stuff in the package.

- I’ll trade for other 4 or 5 strings. Must have a pick guard (they make me feel good when I slap). I’ll throw in $200~$300 if we both can agree that your bass is worth more then mine.

Man these basses play like butter, and light too. Remind me of the MTD Kingstons a whole lot.

I have an Aria PRO II Avante Series myself.


My fretboard, is made of rosewood and is black...as this is probably maple or something?


Why is that? Can someone explain what the MIK means?
