It pains me to have to get rid of this bass so soon after acquiring it, because it plays sooo nicely ... but financial concerns force it:
For sale: a 1993 Pedulla Thunderbolt 4, in excellent condition with minor play wear. It's got a translucent red finish that reveals a birds-eye maple top with a thin walnut stringer on top of what I believe is again maple (the same bird's-eye maple-on-walnut sandwich is on the headstock, too). Neck is two-piece maple with a rosewood fretboard and is fast and accurate, and the fret wear is almost nonexistent. Electronics: two active Bartolini soapbar pickups with pan, volume and tone controls and that cool Pedulla "Thunderguts" tone-shaping switch. Weight: a hair over 9 pounds. This bass sounds so big and plays so easily ... it's really paining me to have to deal it. Anyway ... the bass comes with the original hard-shell case and truss rod wrench. Asking $1,000 shipped to CONUS.
Two pics are attached, the one on the right shows the birds-eye maple top, etc. the best. PM me for better and more pics. Thanks for looking, everyone.
