I have a Basic 112 at home and at my drummers house, I play through a Fender Bassman, 60 watt combo. I like the Fender better than the Peavy.

I won't bore you all with my main rig. mainsail 12-12-2007, 02:28 PM At home I have an SWR Workingman12. At church, I use a Genzz Benz ML 200-210t. Both amps are able to handle my L2.5K as well as the L2K. Larry I have a Basic 112 at home and at my drummers house, I play through a Fender Bassman, 60 watt combo. Infernal Affair 12-12-2007, 02:31 PM I use a Markbass Littlemark II into either an Avatar 410 Neo at the church or into two Aguilar GS112s (one of which is an NT) when I feel like traveling. BigSwami 12-12-2007, 02:50 PM I never thought I'd say this, since I'm a devoted fan of the 15" cabinet, but with a G&L you might not need that big of a speaker. chunkstyle 12-12-2007, 05:05 PM MFD and SVT and the rest of the details don't really matter. thumbplucker 12-12-2007, 09:11 PM at church etc,, I use a Nemesis nc 250 1x15 combo OshKoshJoash 12-13-2007, 04:06 AM G&L L2k tribute > Markbass LMII > Aguilar S210 + Aguilar S410 wu-del 12-13-2007, 07:59 AM MFD and SVT and the rest of the details don't really matter. -nice! i go through 700 watts of Hartke and an Ampeg 6x10. i will be getting a svt soon. Karl Somehow that combo manages to thump, growl, snarl, & sparkle all at the same time. realdeal 12-14-2007, 10:17 AM It's a little-known fact that at the G&L factory in Fullerton, the Bass Guitars are injected with a substance, before being shipped (the final stage of assembly) that enhances the tonal characteristics of the instrument when played through an all-tube circuit,-specifically an Ampeg V4BH. I understand it has to do with stirring up electrons in the MFD's, some type of physics process that Leo himself invented. I myself was skeptical of this process, until I played my ASAT through the above mentioned V4BH. Now I'm convinced. :D (just in case....) quickervicar 12-14-2007, 12:27 PM You'd think that they would sell bottles of the stuff on their parts site. Haven't tried a V4BH yet but I have been wanting one for a couple of years. What cab are you using with that V4BH? realdeal 12-15-2007, 10:24 AM "What cab are you using with that V4BH?" I have (2) SLM Ampeg Classic cabs that I use: An SVT-48HE, no longer made, it's a compact 4x8 w/ a horn-very impressive cab, lots of presence and quite focused And: AN SVT-15E; really helps round out the bottom. For larger rooms, I use them both stacked; smaller gigs usually just the 4x8. For recording, or "old-school" Blues, R&B, etc. the V4BH with the 15 alone has a sound almost like a Vintage B-15. I've done some recordings where the Engineer has double-tracked the bass: direct-to-board and through the mic'd cabinet. Awesome! The G&L ASAT certainly adds it's flavor to all this. IMO, the MFD's really open up well through an all-tube power section. etb67 12-15-2007, 10:49 AM Very Nice! phat daddy 12-16-2007, 07:38 AM I run a Markbass CMD 102P with a 104HF cab. This setup more than covers anything I apply it to-- I never really get the master past 9 o'clock. RwG 12-16-2007, 08:42 AM Currently: Ampeg SVT 4-Pro > SVT 810E for the bigger gigs, SVT 4-Pro > SVT 410HLF for the smaller gigs.
