I know this sounds stupid, but I've never actually had to buy wire to solder up pots, pickups etc... Thus I don't really know what gauge to buy, can someone just let me know which gauge is generally used? I've been using this cloth covered wire that someone gave me and I've run out. Thanks.

22AWG works well.
