Yeah, but they're fingerless gloves!

Around here woollen gloves are pretty common on outdoor bass players from Labour Day weekend on; depending on the bass, there's almost no sound penalty. :)

Etienne Mbappe wears silk gloves for EB, but I'm not sure if it'll work for DB.

I've worn gloves doing an EB gig. Very light fleece gloves. We were playing a dog sled race. In January. In Manitoba. Really. It can be done.

Pretty amazing solo, and it got better as it went. Wonder why the gloves?

Were you playing bass guitar or upright bass? Can you remember what the temperature was?

It wasn't too bad, we were in a very large tent. Heated by human bodies, maybe a hundred or so, it's hard to remember. Nighttime. Rural prairie conditions with a little tree windbreak. About -20 C, -5 F. Nice night for partying.

I was keeping it pretty simple with those gloves on, believe me.

He started wearing gloves because his hands sweated too much. Added bonus is his hands make less string noise and the strings last longer. I would imagine that it would be hard for DB though.
