I was wondering if you had any information for the admissions requirements for GPA and such, as well as the requirements for auditions as a music ed. major?
I'm a student at a community college (San jacinto) here in Pasadena, right by houston, and I'm looking at various colleges as possibilities for transfer - I've always heard wonderful things about the music at UNT, so I figured i'd try and ask from the source, rather than simply puttering around the website. I also recall seeing you at the ISB in oklahoma city, which was a wonderful, wonderful experience. Nonetheless, hopefully you can help me, if not, thanks anyways!

Thanks for your interest in UNT. The admissions requirements for all music majors including Music Ed majors are available at the website www.music.unt.edu . There you can download an application and find out about the audition requirements. Please be advised that applying is a two part process: One application to the college of music and a separate one to the university.
