wow, i remember when the basic black came out, it was the measuring stick for combo amps...and i heard that same peavey amp played live at a christmas party just a couple weeks ago through an ampeg cab...sounded really great...bump!

+1 on the Peavey. built like a tank. I used to drop kick mine when I was a teen-ager to show how rugged it was.
