Hello J,
wassup? It's been a while!

I'll be there, for you (I want to finally meet you) and Scott. If everything goes as it is supposed to, I'll be having my Ambush bass delivered directly from the man himself!

I'll be at the Nordstrand booth, most of the time...

See you then, bro.

+1 Anyone who does not have a blast hanging out with Maki (and Jong) must not have a pulse. You guys are hilarious!!! Not like that Gard guy.... :rollno:

;) :p

And Jauqo, as always, you are quite the gentleman and I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you both at the Bass Bash and at NAMM. Thanks again for turning me on to those H-B basses (and for including me in the ride home from the Bass Bash on Friday!).

Later, Tom.

Wow, the beer at Schmitt's was way too good (the Crown too). It was truly terrifying to hear Maki's conversation with Jay Terrian. He is really not a proud man

Great to finally meet Tom, a true gentleman.

Jauqo is also a great guy, ran into him a bunch at the show. Maki, Jong and Gard took the cake though. The shot of Jong grabbing my man boob may send me and my wife into counseling :ninja:

LMAO. It was cool hanging with you Jady. Thanks for covering on the parking. I owe for that. Tom is a great dude. He was able to hang with Jong and still roll. That's saying a lot. :D

EDIT: Relaxed style. LOL.

LMAO. :D. Sorry about that dude. Figured you're trip wouldn't be right if you didn't a get a shot of an asian @$$. Jong volunteered for the job. I gave you a heads up so you could delete it though. You should figure out how to work that camera. LOL. :)

....jady, keep your hands off me next time, I'm taken, and I don't swing that way anyhow...

I notice Jong hasn't posted in here...maybe he's still driving around southern CA with Maki's wife & kid tryin' to find him?

NAMM and the Bass Bash were a blast.

Here are the highlights:

- Maki is one helluva fun guy to hang with. Hang out with him and you sense that a Benny Hill moment can happen at anytime. Yakety Sax will start playing and a crowd of pissed off folks chase after you.

- Bowlus got some Asian @$$ to take home as a momento of the occasion.

- I got to touch Jady's moob.

- Maki came home one night to find that I had run off with his wife and kid.

- Gard got to talk to someone wearing his face on a T-shirt.

- Jauquo stalked me all throughout NAMM. Wherever I'd go, all I'd have to do was turn my head and there he was. Good thing I had my shank on me in case he was trying to steal my licks.

Jung, I have to admit, I was having penitentiary flash backs and it did cross my mind to shank you if for no other reason other than the sport of it :D

I got there in time to see Brian Bromberg on Friday night. He takes the Aebersold Playalong CD concept to a whole nudder level!

I was looking for special TalkBass stickers or nametags, but didn't see any. Would have liked to say hello and put a face to the (fake) names here on TB!

Hopefully this event will happen again next year, and hopefully I will score another free ticket to NAMM. Thanks to the guys who put this bass show on! Lots of fun!
