sow i got now my weedwackers but i am a litle bit scared that if i wil tune them they will brake becouse i didnt have my pick ups yet and my tuner woudnt find the tune i think can someone help me

Tuning any string up way too high is bad for the bass. Be carefull and find a correct way to tune up please. Get a chromatic tuner - this will also help you learn to play in tune.

The weedwackers are not gonna snap on you, they are super strong. They will stretch forever before they tune up the first time and will take weeks to stabilize. They will sound better as they age. They will get a little louder and more defined (especially the "e") after a few months of playing in. You pretty much just have to stick with them for a while.

nice its nice yes thank you verry much but its because im gonna play a gig 9 feb and its the first time i have weedwackers because my budget was low and stuff like that sow i just tune them now and they wil stresh a little bit ok im gonna be ok

Also, I sanded my weedwackers with very fine sandpaper and it added a textured surface to them. This makes it easier to "grab" the strings when slapping. Sanding also makes them less "squeeky" and plastic feeling, they stick better to the fingerboard when pressed down I guess when they aren't so slick. I think it also makes the click sound more natural. Some people prefer them sanded and some don't bother, but it made a big difference to me.

i started to work to play my weedwackers in evry day i come from school i have to tune him a litle bit because the stresh and yes it's working but whats the size that you hold between the weedwackers and the fingerboard because i was slapping and suddenly i wass slapping just under the fingerboard and it is easy and good sound but isnt it bad ore something ?
