okay im pretty new been playing for like 3 weeks now and I cant seem to slap, im either to soft and it doesnt make the sound or i hit it realy hard and it hurts like a bitch. whats my problem

I think you need to be more in depth.
Make sure on your Amp you turn your mid down all the way, and turn your tone up all the way. Maybe boost the treble and bass a little bit and then try it.
