This has been my main gigging bass for the past 3 years.
I upgraded the pre-amp to a Bartolini 2 band, and it's currently strung with DR Black Beauties (which could stand replacing, except for the fact that they're finally "broken in" and sounding and feeling VERY nice).
I shielded the cavity as well to eliminate most of the buzz from lights, but there are still some rooms that we play where buzz occurs - a trip to the local luthier would be recommended...but that's the ONLY drawback to this bass. No nicks, dents, dings, rash - NUTHIN!!
Why, then, would I put it up for sale? 35" scale....I'm looking convert to 34s for the music that I'm doing, and because it's a lot easier on the fingers. My fretlesses are 34s, so the switch back and forth would be eaiser too.
Neck thru - natural gloss finish - ash wings, 5 piece maple/mahogany neck, rosewood board - 2 band Bartolini EQ with stock Brice pickups, 19mm string spacing at the bridge!! For an inexpensive bass, you'd never know it construction wise
$375 shipped CONUS. These are $469 new with the stock electronics - PLEASE don't ask internationally - if I can't make it to the post office for the KSD, it ain't happening with this one.
2 pix are attached - check out the MySpace link in the signature for pictures of the bass in action on my slide show.
(This is the same posting as the other thread - I just can't change the title of the thread to remove "feeler." Even though people have told me how to do it, it doesn't work on my computer.
Thank you for your consideration!!

Now you see why there's not belt rash too!
