is it bad if you slap just under the fingerboard because i was slapping and suddenly i was slapping under the fingerboard and it sounds good but is it bad ore something ?

it seems like it would cause premature wear, on the strings... where strings hit the fingerboard's bottom's corners edge! insted of hitting on a flat fingerboard surface! but i could be wrong, i've tried it a couple times and it does work (soundwise). i think you will get the answer you're looking for, by the real slappers here on TB!! since i am not really a slapper!! goodluck

ok thanks i think now if you slap under the fingerboard its easyer but i think the strings are faster get out of tune but maby it are just my weedwackers that are streching

Actually i thought that weedwackers (haven't got any experience with 'm) once settled in stay in tune perfectly....

now my weedwackers stay now in tune but the first 3 days ever play a while i have to tune them just a litle bit but ithink it was to my piece tale that they werent good in the holes ore something
