Hey everyone. I just joined the site. I don't play now, but I am looking to buy my first bass. My older brother is a drummer and I always wanted to play the bass. When I was a kid, my parents didn't want to get me a bass, so they got me a clarinet. That didn't last too long.
I am now 32 and finally decided to get one and learn to play. I'm looking forward to getting some good advice here. Seems to be a pretty good forum.

Surprise, surprise. :D No knock on your parents; I'm a rank amateur father of 3 myself. It just strikes me as a pretty funny statement. Welcome to TB, somewhat-late bloomer. :)
