I've just have a confusing read through the "Fretting Hand Specifics, 2/01/2008" Article. I agree with the actual advice and I nearly understand it. The problem is the relationship between text and photos.
Even if a player wears his/her bass somewhere in between, most end up struggling with wrist tension when they are playing in the lowest register of the bass, closest to the headstock. See figure 7:
The thing is which is fig 7? The photos aren't labled. So, is the photo showing the bad way or the good way?
