I have a Fender Jazz that someone put the chrome pickup and bridge covers on.I don't really care for them. Can the screw holes be repaired and blended in so they are not noticeable? Thanks for any help.

Pictures would help, but in general screw holes are tough to match, IMO

I work at a lumber yard/hardware store. We sell a couple of products that might work. If your bass has a natural finish, you might want to look at Minwax wood filler, it's like bondo for wood. Minwax has a few different tones that might match up, plus it's paintable and stainable if you need to match it better. If you've got a painted body, you might want to look for a product called "Bond 'n Fill." It's an acrylic composite that'll bond to anything, and again you can paint it to match. This is what most of our contractor's use for touch up work.

Thanks guys! The problem is it's sunburst and I have a feeling I'd make it worse trying to match it. Thanks for the help though.
