I'm looking into getting a King Doublebass Slap King. However, I've never played one, so I was wondering if there was anyone nearby who owns one that would let me try it out. I love the look of it, but I want to make sure that it feels and sounds like what I'm looking for before plunging in.

I've got a Tiger King you could try out but, I'm up in VA. I might be taking a trip down to Ashville NC next month.
