Quick, but stupid question... I'm finally getting together my project Sterling with SD MM2 Ceramic Basslines pick-ups/pre and I have a question, are the pots that SD uses the set screw type knobs? If so, I have the set screw chrome knobs from the original Sterling but now screws.

If so, then would these screws be the right ones?

BTW, the shaft looks like a solid cylinder, with it split in half top to bottom except for a small bit that is at the bottom which is full.

BTW, the shaft looks like a solid cylinder, with it split in half top to bottom except for a small bit that is at the bottom which is full.Slotted shafts are made for pressure fit knobs. Solid shafts are for knobs with set screws, although you can use them on slotted shafts too if you're careful
