hello everyone,
this is my first post,im not too technically up there with you all,i am still quite new at playing bass,i have a p bass that i love,i was looking on ebay for a precision style neck to stick on a cheapo jazz style bass i own,so i typed in spares repairs and i came across a slab style bass busted bass and fell in love with the look of it,i know nothing about it,at a guess id say it proberly a jap clone of a slab p bass, the only thing the seller could really answer was that it looks like a solid wood body.
i put a bid in of £80 max,i thought i would get it for about £50 tops but there was a few bids and i got it for £72,what would like to know is can someone give me some advice, does anybody know or seen this model before?also is it best to put new parts on it like tuners, bridge, pups etc or is it best to keep it as is and just get it working,
i havent any pics yet, i have only just won it today and not got the bass yet,the ebay uk item number is 280214937923
thank you all in advance

Just looks like a clone "Tele bass" or early P-bass style, to me... the neck appears to have some mild figuring in it, and I can't gell what the body is made of, exactly... could me maple, but it doesn't look *wuite* right for it, to me.
