Don't know if anyone'll want to touch this one:

My first bass was a GSR200 by Ibanez which I've modded (Gotoh bridge, Dimarzio P/J pups, copper shielding and cavity wiring) and it's not a bad bass. It's survived as my backup.
I've been playing around on fretless axes and want one for all the usual reasons.
Here's what I'm thinking: Rondo has a fretless neck for very little $$$; get it and bolt it to the Ibanez body (which already has nice components) and use that for awhile, just to see if I want to move up eventually.
The main question is will the SX neck match well with the Ibanez neck pocket? Anyone know?
In case you want to suggest just modding a SX fretless, I'd rather be able to scavenge the Dimarzio's.
