2 Band pre-amp vs 3 band preamp ?

hi i am about to put a bartilini pre amp but i dont know wich one
difference between them ?
a lot of difference?

2 band = Trebel and Bass
3 band = Treble , mid and bass

Go for 3 band if cost don't bother you. That mid boost is very very useful.

Yes, the MID comes in useful The Mid pot is actually a "push/pull" that changes the frequency sweep of the mid's from like 200hz to 800hz. I use a different sweep depending on which pickup(s) I'm using.

Actually im looking for a pre-amp for Bartolini P/J set pu's

well, the preamp is specified for 2 pickups with a certain knob configuration and how many knobs you have/want. They have like 20 different preamps available for any configuration. Wouldn't really matter if it's P/J's or soap bar-style. Go to Bartolini's site and pick out the right preamp you're looking for...

I'm just letting you know what I have and my experiences with it, that's all.
