I just got back from a gig. I played on the Miller Light stage of Louisville, KY for the Kentucky Derby festival. Iget there and the stage is huge!!! It was at least 150 ft. long. I bring my amp on stage set up and the soundman was really smart he new what he was doing. From what I understand this is the same soundman that bands like Drowning pool, B-52's, Sum 41, and other huge bands had. This was my first gig with my new GK 1001RB-II. He hooked me up to the PA, I put my DI on post EQ. Anyway I talked to my bands real soundman who just came anyway. HE told me the PA I was using was at least 100K!! The speakers alone we 10K. They had 3 actual soundmen to work with us. One for moniters, one for speakers, and one for mics. The stupid thing was that only 50 came to this gig.:( We sounded amazing. I love this PA, I'm playing again Thursday for the Colgate Country Showdown. I know this gig Thursday will be packed. I can't wait to use the PA again.:hyper:

I'll have some pics later this week. It maybe earlier.

Nothing like playing a venue with a killer PA. I remember the first time I heard my drummer's bass drums mic'd up

Nice!!!

There's not many things that compare to feeling your LowEnd "in the house" from the stage!!!
