I need someting I can run my sax and bass and keybaords through. it would be nice if it had a tape in for the computer also. and is there a way I could send just the sax out one channel so they can go to their own effects. the rest I want to run through my normal effects board

So you need a small form-factor 4 channels powered mixer, right? Do you need XLR ins? 1/4" ins? RCA? All of the above?

These are all super-cheap options. You can pay more if you like, but it seems to get you more channels and busses, not better quality in a smaller mixer. YMMV.

yeah i definetly don't need a rack mounted one. im also looking for something durable and with good sound quality which i don't think the behringer has. How would you run just the sax out by the way? would it have to have some sort of aux out?

You could get a really good/decent working Behringer 4-channel mixer from GC or similar places for below $70. Works fine, has AUX input and so on. --Kent

I am looking for something similar to this but with a couple of effects sends like some kind of looper but where I can control the blend.

So it would have one guitar input with two send/recieves and two blends (one for each loop) and a stomp to turn the loops on and off.

Ideally small and rugged with top sound. Don't ask for much do I?

Mackie 1202-vlz. should give all you need plus its reliable and insdutry standard quality...

i found what i needed. the Tapco Blend 6 has 2 aux outs and i don't need more than 2 mic pre's. I've heard Tapco isn't a bad brand

1202 vlz and 1202 vlz pro can be had used for cheap cheap cheap. My 5 pc plus vox and used one for two years until recently as our needs expanded beyond 4 mic pres. Not much control over tone on them, though.
