I used to get my wood from Larry, but i heard he doesn't do this anymore. I am looking for 2 pieces of pao ferro 16" x 3/16" x 1 5/8". I dont have the ability to mill wood down to these specs myself. Feel free to PM me if you want.

If you are in Chicago I go to Owl HardWoods in Lombard they have another store somewhere else.

They will cut sand just about anything to what ever size you want for real reasonable prices $6.00 minimum. They even split a board to make a bookmatched top for me, them once glued everything I went back and they sent it through their sander to get everything flat and to the exact thickness. They carry a lot of exotic wood. You have to call to see if they have what you want though.

Tell them you building a guitar, they seem to like to hear your making something cool.

they are great guys.
