Hello Guys,

I was looking at your webpage and I noticed the the UL cabs that you have pictured have the smaller gauge speaker grill. If I order a cab from you guys will it look like the ones in the Picture on TPB.com?

I have heard that Epifani changed the grills on the UL series to look somewhat like the ones on the Performance series. Call me a stiffler, but I kind of want my cabs to match... :p

Hi Guys,

I thought I’d make this post so that everyone would be up to speed on a recent change to the UL series cabs. If you haven’t noticed Epifani has made a change to the style of grill used. All UL cabs now feature grills with larger hole like the grill material found on the performance series cabs.

**We currently have a few cabs left with the smaller gauged grill holes.

If anyone has any questions on Epifani products please feel free to post them here or to contact me directly.

Thanks guys!

I also understand the weight has increased significantly. Do you have the new weight spec's on the UL line?

I recently purchased a UL112 from a dealer who had 2 cabs in stock, one from before the weight increase, one after. I bought the one from before that weighed 28.5 lbs. The other one weighed 34 lbs. This was done over the phone, so I don't know what kind of scale was used to weigh the cabs.

In order to meet European environmental standards, the cabs had to have some modifications made to them. From what I understand, the insullation that is now being used is a little heavier than the previous type and the grills have changed slightly. Between these 2 mods, they are a little heavier, but still produce the same amazing Epifani tone!

For what it's worth, the 112's that we have in stock are weighing in at about 33-34 pounds and are still lighter than just about any other cabs on the market! ;)

Peace!

Could you please post the weight spec's on as much of the cab line as you can. Thanks.

Ken,

It appears that TPB has updated their website to show pictures of the new-style cabinets with the larger grill openings. They've also updated the weights for the new models.
