i have a kustom groove 1200 head and a 4x12...about to get onstage, and previously i've never had to worry about mic's or anything for the vocals...i guess what i'm asking is the basics of how to set everything up, as far as vocals and bass...how a PA system works...(i know i left myself wide open, and am already prepared for the smart a$$ comments)...so does the mic plug into the PA board thingie, and that acts as the amp? and can the bass be plugged into the PA and be played through the same speakers? do i need my amp head? or do I plug my amp into the PA thingie and that acts as an overall moderator...
sorry, like i said i never had to worry about this before, i just played through my amp and vocals weren't a concern, and i'd much rather you guys help me out and me look like a fool in front of fellow basser's than my band...also, if you don't use a PA, how else would you set up for vocals? thanx, guys
