I'm looking into buying a new amp for DB and electric bass, and I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to check these out. I was thinking that either the 2x8 or the 1x10 would be good. Any thoughts?

Well, I just looked at the Eden site. The 1x10, 1x12, and 1X15 all look to have some kind of Wizzer cone. That's interesting. The 2x8 weighs in at 41 lbs. That's not bad but a little on the heavy side. I can't say what the input impedance is because it's not listed in the specs on the owner's manuals. Nice economical amp with a interesting design. Until one shows up at store here in St. Louis your guess is as good as mine.
