I want to install EMG-J-SET EMG-J Set Bass Pickups into my fender jazz bass. I was also wondering if I could install a concentric(stacked) pot equalizer along with the two volume pots and the tone pot on a jazz bass?

If the answer is yes I was wondering if I should get a treble/bass equalizer?
EMG-BTC-CON EMG-BTC Control

Or if I should get a Variable Mid Control?
EMG-VMC Variable Mid Control

Or is it possible to have both of them with the active pickups so there would be a total of five pots on a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass?

The Geddy Lee is such a great bass in stock set-up. I'm surprised you would want to alter it. Are you sure?

How about a used made in Mexico Jazz and slapping the hot-rod pups on that one?
